On 22 May 2025, members of our Firm had the privilege of attending “1998: Reunions of the Advocates”, an event organised by Chambers Lab and sponsored by Endeavour Group Law Practice, Lim Chee Wee Partnership (LCWP), and Rahmat Lim & Partners.
The event featured compelling interviews with the advocates who acted for the late Tun Salleh Abas, former Lord President of the Supreme Court, and the five Supreme Court Judges who were charged with misconduct during the 1988 judicial crisis. The panellists shared personal reflections and insights from their roles during this pivotal chapter in Malaysian legal history, as well as their perspectives on judicial independence in Malaysia.
